This is not true, as our Earth Sheltered Home can be built right on the flat and covered to give the proper geothermal effect.
We can build the home to face north, south, east or west, or any angle in between , even north facing homes will enjoy in excess of 50% energy savings in the winter months and considerably more in the hot summer months in savings on cooling. A hillside or slope would give you the benefit of a panoramic view of the existing countryside.
9. How do you heat an Earth Sheltered Home?
Approximately 85 to 90% of our home owners heat with either a fireplace or wood burning stove with either a gas or electric back-
However they can be heated with natural gas, propane, electric heat, hot water heat,heat pump
geo thermal or solar energy system.
The heating and cooling system need be only to be one quarter of the output of a conventional home.

Our Design team will work with you to create a Custom Designed Earth Sheltered Structure to meet your needs designed to be used as Community Centers, Medical Centers Hotels Schools, Malls, Law Enforcement, Prisons, Library's, Offices, Condos, Record Vaults, Factories, climate controlled areas for Agriculture, Warehouses, anything you may need as a structure can be in its design.
12. Which is best a Concrete Earth Sheltered Home or a wood one?
Untreated lumber will last less than 5 years. Treated lumber is treated with arsenic.
In case of a fire one would die from the fumes rather than smoke inhalation or fire.
So many companies are starting to treat lumber that the quality is suffering.
Concrete does not reach its optimum strength until it ages for about 100 years. Our homes will last several lifetimes.
13. What is the Unique features of Our Earth Sheltered Homes?
Our Earth Sheltered Homes offers a cathedral ceiling with a true domed structure, and we can build two story homes or commercial structures with basements.

This gives your earth sheltered home or commercial structure superior strength.

15. How are your Earth Sheltered Homes constructed?
Our Homes are Built on site poured reinforced concrete using our exotic aluminum forming system which provides you with a cathedral ceiling.
Giving our Homes nearly 20 times as much strength as a flat roofed structure.
We use over 2 tons of grade 60 rebar in each module.
Poured in one continuous"monolithic" pour so that there are no cold-
Mods may be poured in any number and in any direction using full mods, half mods, triangle
mods or flat roofed additions up to 15 foot in width to create the desired square footage.
16. What sizes are your Modules for Earth Sheltered Homes?
Each module is either 30 foot by 30 foot 28 foot by 28 foot inside dimensions or 26 foot by 26 foot 24 foot by 24 foot inside dimensions.
The 30 foot module consists of 900 square feet for the first one, and 875 square feet for each additional one used due to a common wall between modules.
Each 26 foot module consists of 675 square feet for the first one, and 640 square feet for each additional one used.
Triangle or half mods contain one half of the amount of square feet that a whole mod contains.
17. What is Finishing off the Earth Sheltered Home involve?
The finishing includes:
pouring of floors after all under floor electrical, plumbing, heating ducts are installed, electrical, plumbing, heating, carpentry (including doors and windows), interior walls, using lumber or metal 2 by fours, 2 by sixes, stairs if a 2 story with basement or 3 story, plastering, floor coverings, kitchen cabinets, painting and staining, exterior finish which can be done with white cedar or pine log siding, stone, brick or what ever you desire.
This is all done by your Contractor at Your cost.
If you do not have a Contractor, we will locate one at no cost to you.
18. How thick is the Concrete for your Earth Sheltered Homes?
The side walls are 10 1/2 inches thick and where the dome begins to rise it is 14 inches thick concrete.
The top of the dome is 4 inches thick concrete.
We use a special fiber glass mix blended into the concrete to create superior strength and we use over 2 tons of reinforcing rod (rebar) in each Module wall &ceiling in our Earth Sheltered Homes, Commercial Structures & Bomb Shelters/Safe Rooms.
All done as a Monolithic pour so there are no seams in each Mod.
19. Advantages of a Earth Sheltered Home?

They can be installed in the Center of any full module.
You can also add Solar Tubes, which can bring in additional light also.
21. Can I add Geo thermal, Hydro, Solar or wind power?
Yes, as an Option, we can help supply you with any energy related items you need to enhance your homes energy efficiency.
You can even go off the Grid, if that is our goal or because power is not available to your remote area.
If on the Grid, you can make more power than you need and local utility companies by law must buy your excess power at wholesale rates.
22. Where do you Build Your Earth Sheltered Homes?
Our Earth Sheltered Homes can be built any where in the United States of America and Canada & Australia.
23. Do you Offer Blue Prints for your Earth Sheltered Homes & Bomb Shelters/Safe Rooms?
We can create custom designed Blue Prints for your earth sheltered home, this amount is rebated back to you.
Larger Homes Blue Prints may cost more.
This Blue Print Fees are deducted from your final earth sheltered shell price when you order your home.
Every set of Blue Prints that we provide is designed to meet all Federal, State & Local codes.
24. Are Earth Sheltered Homes a risky resale investment?
