We offer a complete range of high pressure swinging blast resistant doors
and blast hatches.
These are true high pressure blast doors that feature massive hinges and
heavy duty cam latches. They have been in use for years in a variety of
applications - bomb shelters, factories, foundries.

This double leaf blast resistant door is designed to allow vehicles to pass
through. It carries the same pressure rating as our single leaf blast door
shown above.
This door comes in two standard sizes - and customs sizes can be built.
The standard sizes are 72 inches wide by 80 inches tall and 96 inches wide
by 80 inches tall. The free opening when installed is nominally one half
inch under the rated size.
As with the single leaf blast door, this door is designed to bolt to the wall
with high strength concrete wedge anchors - after the wall is poured and
has cured. This drastically eases installation time and cost. If you choose
the assault resistant cam latches, you also get the wall capture brackets -
which give you the security of a poured in place door with the ease of
installation of a bolt on door.
The double leaf blast door can be built in two halves - with each door leaf
attached to half the frame. This reduces the cost of shipping and eases the
handling of the door when you install it.
If your shelter has the ability to house a vehicle, you need this door. Please
measure the height and width of your vehicle before ordering.
Horizontal Blast Hatch
This blast hatch is designed to mount on a vertical shaft.
Unlike the blast doors, this hatch is not filled with concrete. It features a
gas charged lift strut, that aids in opening. The hasp can be locked in the
open or closed position with a user-supplied paddle lock.
Installation is simple - lay the hatch on the riser coming up from the
shelter, center drill the hole locations, remove the hatch, drill out the holes
with the included concrete drill bit, install the included concrete wedge
anchor studs, replace the hatch - grouting it in place, torque down the nuts
on the wedge anchors, install the lift strut.
The opening size is 32 by 24 inches.
Update - we have a new blast hatch that is 36 by 32 inches. Contact
